1. Agreement to Terms

By using AroundTheCorner (“AroundTheCorner,” “we,” or the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

AroundTheCorner is an early beta product. Features may change, break, or be discontinued without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a parent or legal guardian
• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes

AroundTheCorner is not:

• A dating or matchmaking service
• A childcare or supervision service
• A background check or identity verification service
• A medical, therapeutic, or professional service

3. Accounts & Information

You agree to:

• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend or remove accounts that are misleading, unsafe, or violate these Terms.

4. Content & Profile Photos

Profile photos must:

• Only include adults
• Not include children
• Not be sexual, misleading, or inappropriate

You retain ownership of your content, but grant AroundTheCorner a limited license to display and use it to operate the Service.

5. Interactions, Events & Meetings

All interactions—online or in person—are voluntary and at your own discretion and risk. AroundTheCorner does not supervise, organize, or oversee meetups, events, or in-person gatherings.

AroundTheCorner does not verify identity, parental status, or user behavior and makes no safety guarantees.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
• Engage in sexual, exploitative, or abusive behavior
• Share content involving minors
• Impersonate others or misrepresent identity
• Solicit, advertise, or promote commercial services
• Engage in multi-level marketing or recruitment
• Collect data, scrape, or solicit personal information off-platform

Violations may result in immediate removal.

7. Verification & Badges

Verification features (e.g., phone, school connection) are optional trust signals. They do not confirm identity or safety and should not be relied upon as assurances of behavior.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no guarantees regarding:

• Availability or uptime
• User behavior or interactions
• Outcomes of communications or meetings
• Accuracy of user information or content

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AroundTheCorner is not liable for damages arising from:

• User interactions
• In-person meetings or events
• Content posted by users
• Loss, corruption, or deletion of data during beta

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold AroundTheCorner harmless from claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the Service, your content, or in-person interactions.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety concerns, or legal reasons.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Disputes
